Track Info

The track consists of a 3,937 ft by 75 ft. paved runway, which is used for the drag strip. The runway is part of an active airport that is temporarily shutdown for the drag racing events. There are two concrete starting line pads 12 feet wide by 200 feet long with 125 feet after the start line.

The NSDRA runs five classes of vehicles at Greenfield Dragway:

Greenfield Dragway works with the ADRA (Atlantic Drag Racing Association ) to run a series of points races and hosts drag racing events at all 4 tracks in the Maritime region.

Over the last last 8 years we have seen a steady increase in average race vehicle attendance of 150 in 2007 to 175 in 2008 to 215 in 2010 hitting a peak of 294 vehicles at the October 2009 race. Our spectator attendance has been consistent and varies from 800 to 1300 people per weekend, totally relative to the hours of sunshine.
