Latest Race Results

Wowza! Just let me say that if you were not at Greenfield this past weekend you missed the perfect combination of track preparation and weather condition. A big thumbs-up to Gary Keans and the track prep crew for giving the racers a surface that was excellent right out of the box Friday night.

The DA was south of 0 on Friday, and only a few hundred above on Saturday...making for some pretty interesting moments. Total entries were just over 200 for the weekend and the stands were full both days, witnessing some great racing. Sunday's racing did get not get fully completed when rain moved-in late in the afternoon unfortunately.

In the Box Eliminator category on Saturday it was Yarmouth's Barrett Bonnar taking the win over a red-lighting Darrell Poole in the final. Bonnar went .003 on tree and Poole just missed with -.014 on the wrong side. Michael Golden was the lone semi-finalist, who fell to Bonnar in round five.

In the No Box category, 99 entries were in the lanes for round one. Seven rounds later saw Jeremy Keans facing-off against PEI's Glenn Frizzell in the final. Keans put an .049 on the board to Frizzell's .063 and held on for the double-breakout win. Cape Breton's Michael McPherson and Robert Carpenter from Elmsdale made semi-final appearances.

In Sport Compact, Dartmouth's Terrel Provo was the winner when he defeated J. Debale in the final. In junior dragster it was Ashley Walker from Sackville taking the win with a fine .012 light in the final against Dawson Miller from Elmsdale.

The ACSSA Stock / Super Stock Series had 18 entries on the ladder. It was an all mopar final with Bill Sheppard from Lakeview, NS in his G/SA 73 Duster and Mark Howes from Rothesay, NB in his SS/JA 71 Duster. Sheppard took a .001 RT off the line but it was not needed when Howes lit the red.
