Here are the results from racing action over the weekend.
It was a big weekend of racing at the dragway with both the ADRA and the Atlantic Stock/Superstock (ACSSA) series on hand. This was race #7 for the ADRA and the series final for ACSSA. The Greenfield point's championship was wrapping up as well so there was plenty on the line and it was obvious as over 200 entries filled the pits. The unseasonably warm temperatures and wind insured there would be no personal bests but it was sunny and dry and that's all you can ask for in September.
In Saturday action, John Croft from Blockhouse, NS took the win in box over a red-lighting Benny Nieston who just missed the tree with a-.001 RT. In no box, team Ramsay waded through a 90 plus car field and seven rounds of competition to face each other in the final. Chad hit the tree with a .008 RT but could not run Brett down who was just as ready with a .022 RT of his own. The Junior Dragster final was a family affair as well with Rylie Green taking the win over Brother Jensen.
In stock / superstock action, Kelly MacKay took the win over Mark Howes in the final of race 4 held over from PEI a few weeks earlier. In race five it was Jeremy Keans with the win over a redlighting Don Lavoie to claim his second win in the five race series. Watch for complete results on Maritime drag site in the coming days.
